Hamad International Airport (HIA) would like to advice its departing passengers that Eid travel rush will begin on 30th June 2016. To enjoy a comfortable and seamless journey, be sure to check-in online, arrive 3 hours prior to your flight and use the E-gates to avoid queues. Please be reminded that check-in will close 60 minutes prior to departure.
Qatar Duty Free is offering passengers travelling by Qatar Airways 10% off shopping vouchers for online check-in. General public who are dropping off or collecting passengers are advised to use the short-term car park which provides complimentary parking for the first 30 minutes and costs QAR5 per hour thereafter. Passengers also have the option of parking their vehicles at the airport’s long-term car park which provides customers with a regular shuttle service to the main terminal every 15-20 minutes.
