Sheikh Majed Al Sabah unveils TFK’s first ever chocolate line at Hamad International Airport

Hamad International Airport (HIA) welcomed Sheikh Majed Al Sabah, Kuwaiti business man and entrepreneur, to launch The Fragrance Kitchen’s (TFK) first ever chocolate line. The unveiling ceremony took place in the airport, beside the iconic Lamp Bear on Saturday 4^th of May.

Sheikh Majed announced that ‘Flavors’, his first chocolate line will be sold exclusively by HIA’s award-winning retail provider, Qatar Duty Free (QDF).The luxury scented chocolates are shaped like perfume blotters with four flavors that complement TFK’s perfume scents. HIA welcomed hundreds of guests to the airport to witness the grand unveiling of the much-anticipated chocolate line at the new TFK booth, which will be the exclusive home to Sheikh Majed’s products for the rest of the year. The ceremony took place in the presence of honored guests including Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bintHamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

During the event, Sheikh Majed also announced a partnership between TFK and HIA to create an exclusive perfume, which will be named after Hamad International Airport and will become the airport’s signature scent. The fragrance is set to launch later this year and is going to bean integral part of the HIA experience, as passengers will be able to experience the scent as they travel through the airport. The celebration included a traditional Kuwaiti band and musicians who entertained the guests and passengers within HIA. All guests were gifted TFK’ perfume and chocolate, giving them the opportunity to be one of the first in the world to experience ‘Flavors’.

“We collaborated with a chocolate artist from Torino, Italy to transform TFK scents into flavors. Through this transformation, ‘Flavors’ chocolates were born” explained Sheikh Majed Al Sabah, who is the creator of The Fragrance Kitchen and a well-known entrepreneur and social media influencer. Talking about his company, Sheikh Majed explained: “TFK is a Kuwaiti based fragrance house that was born from my childhood and sensory experiences which I associated with the fond memories of my grandmother. It is now an essential part of the ongoing retail legend that I have created.

“Hamad International Airport is the perfect partner for TFK’s latest venture as both organizations share the common vision of excellence is everything we do. I am delighted that my latest creation has found the perfect new home for millions of HIA’s passengers to the experience our products”.
